These strategic mission programs demonstrate BANC3’s ability to execute complex defense missions with rigor, reliability, and operational discipline. A) Space Spectrum & SIGINT Systems
1) TrueSignalDetect for NRO — Ultra-Wideband RF Intercept & Analysis
Overview: TrueSignalDetect is BANC3’s modular, software-defined wideband receiver system designed for high probability-of-intercept RF monitoring in constrained SWaP environments.
Mission Fit: Persistent spectrum surveillance, ELINT/SIGINT collection, and real-time RF event detection in contested and dense RF conditions.
BANC3 Contribution: Combines Hybrid Digital Receiver processing with Real Time Spectrum Analyzer (RTSA) and a Digital Instantaneous Frequency Measurement (DIFM) outputs to continuously generate spectrum and pulse descriptor word (PDW) data for real-time analysis and post-mission exploitation. Additional extensions to the WatchTower software support direction finding (DF) on signals of interest and geo-location when multiple TrueSignalDetect equipped aerostats are deployed. The architecture is configurable to support multiple platforms and diverse mission requirements.

2) STAMP for DoD — Intel-Based SDRX Transition for Military Applications
Overview: BANC3 was selected for the DoD’s STAMP (Stimulating Transition for Advanced Microelectronics Packaging) program to advance next-generation software-defined receiver (SDRX) solutions leveraging Intel multichip packaging technologies.
Mission Fit: Reducing SWaP while increasing RF performance for integration into defense platforms and modernization pathways.
BANC3 Contribution: Integrates Intel Direct RF converters and advanced SerDes with FPGA processing to accelerate adoption into mission systems.

B) AI-Driven Operational Intelligence (with AR Interfaces)

1) Integrated Fire Control + AR Assistance (Army Picatinny Arsenal) for Army
Overview: BANC3 developed an AI-assisted and AR-enhanced capability supporting an integrated fire control concept for mounted weapon optics and ammunition programming workflows.
Mission Fit: Improving speed, accuracy, and situational awareness for mounted and vehicle-based operations.
BANC3 Contribution: Delivered AR software and system integration approaches that support sensor fusion and real-time operator guidance, including multi-sensor awareness concepts and training support.

4) Live-Fire AR Training for Army — Marksmanship & Range Modernization
Overview: BANC3 delivered an augmented/mixed reality training capability designed to improve live-fire marksmanship realism and feedback using AI-assisted tracking and high-fidelity AR overlays.
Mission Fit: Training modernization that enhances realism, repeatability, and safety on live ranges.
BANC3 Contribution: Developed an optical see-through HMD approach with integrated sensing, tracking, occlusion, and range interaction to support realistic target presentation and feedback loops.

Overview: BANC3 developed a ruggedized AR/MR maintainer concept with secure architecture to provide hands-free access to technical data, guided procedures, and workflow support.
Mission Fit: Maintenance and logistics efficiency in disconnected or restricted environments.

7) Multimodal Drone Control for Navy — AR HUD + Eye/Speech/Gesture
Overview: BANC3 developed a multimodal human-machine interface concept enabling dynamic switching between tablet and heads-up control for small unmanned systems.
Mission Fit: Small-unit operations requiring flexible control, reduced cognitive load, and improved situational awareness.
BANC3 Contribution: Built AR interface concepts and control logic supporting eye-tracking, speech, gesture, and controller inputs for operator-centric control.

8) Soldier Visual Interface for DoD — AR/HUD Situational Awareness Concept
Overview: BANC3 developed AR/HUD concepts to present mission-relevant data directly in the soldier’s field of view, improving awareness and reducing time-to-action.
Mission Fit: Dismounted awareness, navigation, target handoff, and reduced cognitive burden.

9) Pre-Shot Threat Detection (PTD) for Army — Optical Threat Cueing Concept
Overview: BANC3 developed a product to provide rapid threat cueing related to optical threats in urban environments where reaction time is critical.
Mission Fit: Close-quarters survivability and threat awareness.
BANC3 Contribution: Lightweight integration concepts supporting rapid operator cueing workflows. The PTD is a rifle-mounted laser used in combination with the legacy Advance Combat Optical Gunsight (ACOG). The PTD laser system provides positive visible warning signatures from threat optics, including but not limited to: Rocket Propelled Grenade (RPG) indication, allowing immediate, appropriate defensive reaction that prevents warfighter injury or death. BANC3 has created innovative and lightweight solutions for the PTD weapon mounted operational systems.
10) Processor-Aided Weapon Sight (PAWS) — Rapid Target Acquisition Concept
Overview: BANC3 developed a processor-aided weapon sight concept integrating sensors and computation to accelerate target acquisition and improve engagement accuracy.
Mission Fit: Faster engagement, improved first-round effectiveness.
BANC3 Contribution: Embedded processing and sensor fusion concepts supporting ballistic correction overlays and data exchange in connected environments. It can reduce the time required for long range first shot setups to only a few seconds, bringing an effective long range "stop and shoot" capability to a variety of potential weapons, including the modern generation semi-automatic rifles like the M4, M24, M107, M110, SR25, SCAR MK-20, DTA SRS, and Crew Served Weapons. The PAWS technology was selected for participation in the Tactical Network Testbed's Capability Based Experimentation week by the US SOCOM Science and Technology Directorate in May 2012.
11) Free-Form Prism Eyepiece for Army — Advanced Optics for See-Through Displays
Overview: BANC3 developed advanced free-form prism eyepiece technology supporting optical see-through display designs, aligned to high-resolution micro-display integration.
Mission Fit: Next-generation wearable display optics for defense use cases.
BANC3 Contribution: Optics development and prototype maturation supporting advanced HMD design approaches.
12) Small Unit Leader / Drone “Follow-Me†+ 360 Video Concepts
Overview: BANC3 demonstrated AR-enabled drone interaction concepts including follow-me behavior in GPS-limited environments and immersive 360° video viewing to improve operator awareness.
Mission Fit: Close-range reconnaissance and safer movement through constrained terrain.
BANC3 Contribution: Implemented AR-based control and streaming approaches aligned to small unit use cases.
C) C4ISR Program Support & Modernization
C4ISR Solutions/Services:
BANC3 has supported major U.S. Army and Joint C4ISR modernization efforts delivering software engineering, integration, sustainment, cybersecurity, and lifecycle program support.
Representative Programs:
1. Global Command and Control System – Army (GCCS-A)
BANC3 supported the U.S. Army’s GCCS-A by delivering software engineering, integration, testing, and sustainment services for mission command and situational awareness capabilities. GCCS-A serves as the Army’s primary link between joint and service commanders, enabling operational planning, force visualization, and command execution across echelons. BANC3’s work contributed to modernization efforts aligned with evolving joint command-and-control architectures and enterprise service environments.
1. Defense Readiness Reporting System – Army (DRRS-A)
BANC3 supported the DRRS-A by providing engineering and software development services for secure, web-based readiness reporting and data management applications. DRRS-A enables commanders and senior leaders to assess unit readiness, force availability, and operational preparedness across the Army. BANC3’s contributions supported system reliability, data integrity, and lifecycle sustainment in a compliance-driven operational environment.
2. Tactical Internet Management System / Communications Joint Networks (TIMS / SDIN)
BANC3 provided operational and software support for the Tactical Internet Management System (TIMS) and associated Communications Joint Network (COMM JN / SDIN) environments supporting Army tactical network operations. These systems enable network planning, monitoring, interoperability testing, and joint communications readiness across deployed and laboratory environments. BANC3’s work supported tactical network modernization, integration exercises, and secure operations for joint and coalition users.
3. Pentagon Network Operations / Enterprise Transport Management (ITA-ETM)
BANC3 supported Pentagon-level network operations Information Technology Agency and Enterprise Transport Management (ITA-ETM) by providing technical control, network engineering, and continuity support for secure Department of Defense communications infrastructure. This work included support for enterprise transport services, continuity of operations planning, and compliance with stringent security and availability requirements. BANC3’s involvement demonstrated disciplined execution in one of the DoD’s most mission-critical and reliability-sensitive network environments.
